Wild forward Zach Parize will make his NHL debut against the Tampa Bay Lightning in a preseason game Saturday.
The Wild selected Parise in the fifth round (210th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft and the 6-foot-3, 198-pound defenseman played in the 2016 NHL All-Star Game, where he recorded five points (two goals, two assists) in 10 games.
Parise had two goals and five points in eight games in the 2017 AHL All-Stars game.
Parize recorded his first career point in his NHL opener at Buffalo on March 13, 2017.
He played four seasons in the AHL and four seasons with the Buffalo Sabres.
He had 13 goals and 32 points in 82 games during his first two NHL seasons.
Parise has registered 11 goals and 33 points in 59 games with the Wild.
